SPECIAL NOTICE TO MY READERS!!!!!

Dear Readers, I will have knee-replacement surgery this Wednesday. I have worked hard to upload most of the October interviews to post on their regularly scheduled day. So keep checking on the blog.

I'm not sure when I will be back at the computer, so we may miss announcing winners a couple of times. When I do get back on the computer regularly, I'll catch up on announcing the winners.

If you think about it, please pray for me and my recovery.

  1. Follow all of the therapists instructions and everything should go well. Mine was two years ago. It takes a while before it feels like a "real" knee again. Best of luck to you. I'll be thinking about you.

  7. Prayers going up for you Lena. I have been putting off having mine replaced for ten years now. I've been lucky that the gel injections have worked for me.

I am sure you will do well and as Linda Kish said, make sure you follow all the instructions. I used to work in surgery and assisted on many a knee replacement and the docs always said that the therapy is extremely important.

    Smiles & Blessings to you!

  17. Praying for you! :) I don't know if you can (hospitals have stopped allowing these machines lately) but if you can convince them to send a (I think it's called a...) CPM machine home with you! I recommend it!!! My dad got a partial many years ago when they allowed these machines, and I truly believe it is why his recovery and knee worked/work SO well! I've heard from other's that haven't gotten the machine and the stories aren't very good. I don't want to tell you them before you go into your own surgery.

Many Blessings Lena and I pray The Lord guides the surgeons hands, and you have a speedy recovery!
