LENA NELSON DOOLEY'S Ebooks - Two Free Ebook

Dear Readers, some of you have asked that I do a post giving away one of my books. So here it is. I have a number of backlist books that the rights have reverted to me. I've republished several of them as ebooks, because they have never been available for ereaders.

They are available in both Kindle editions and epub, which are available from Barnes and Noble. A few are contemporary, and some are historical.

Here are the contemporary books:

Christmas Confusion - Lori Compton, mayor of Mistletoe, needs ideas for ways to prop up the sagging economy. After having her heart broken by the former pastor, she doesn’t want to spend time with the new pastor. Rev. Russell Brown has plenty of ideas, even one that includes his spending the rest of his life with the beautiful mayor. Will Lori be able to move beyond her hurts and recognize God’s intentions for the future of the town – and for her own future?

Can You Help Me? - When Valerie Bradford asks a Home and Hearth store employee for assistance, she doesn't realize that she'll get more attention than she bargained for.

Austin Hodges can't believe what the feisty blond plans to accomplish all by herself. Because of his profession, he knows how much help she needs, but for right now, his advice will have to do.

God must lead them through the misunderstandings they encounter toward a bright future together.

No Thank You! - Social Director Scarlett McKaye loves planning things down to the last detail. But what she didn't count on was having to spurn the bold advances of a reckless suitor.

How far will daredevil Derrick Greene go to cancel Scarlett's reservations?

The historicals are:

The Best Medicine When Thomas Stanton shows up at the holiday party of Rose Fletcher’s best friend, his appearance reminds Rose of the infatuation she felt for him when he worked on her father’s ranch. Although her heart wants to continue those long ago feelings, her mind reminds her that he doesn’t share her faith in God. Thomas can’t understand why Rose seems so standoffish. Will it take God’s intervention to show these two people just what He has planned all along?

The Spinster and the Cowboy - The Cactus Corner singles scene is shrinking. . . . Many were unmarried by choice, others by circumstances, but single women living the 1800s carried the unfortunate label of “spinsters.” Once branded, can a spinster find love?

India Cunningham is happy running the ranch her father left her when a man she doesn’t remember from her childhood arrives to help her. Can she trust Joshua Dillinger, or is he there to steal her land?

  8. Hi, Lena! I love your books and don't get to read as many as I would like bc of blogging. So many authors and wonderful Christian books that I actually had to turn down some of my favorites this year. :( Surgery caused me to get behind in my reading as well. My birthday is coming up right b4 Christmas...would love to win one for that momentous occasion! LOL

  14. Kelly, yes, I wanted to make them available for people who like to read on ereaders. I like to read print books when I'm home, but my Kindle goes everywhere with me. I read it a lot of places when we're waiting or when we have a ways to drive.

Many of my other books are also available for ereaders. The publishers published them both in print and electronically.

Look on my Kindle page or on Barnes and Noble to find them.

  18. I have been trying like heck to win a Kindle from one of my giveaways of the authors, but so far, no luck! I have been very ill lately and I spend a lot of time in the hospital getting treatments! It is a bit boring and I love to read but have not had money to buy food lately, never mind books, I go to the library when I am able but it is hard, my library is small too! If anybody knows of someone who might have one they may wish to donate, I would be truly blessed by their kindness! I am hoping to get my disability soon, but they say it could take up to two years! But on a Kindle, you can get a lot of free books, which would help me a great deal! So, please, I'd someone would Bless me, it would be very much appreciated! Thanks so much for letting us voice our opinions on here and have a wonderful, blessed day!
    Sincerely,
    Frances from Deltona, Florida
