WHO'S THE NEW KID? - Heidi Bond - One Free Book

BIO: Heidi Bond has appeared on Good Morning America, CNN, and The Biggest Loser. A sought after speaker, she has helped thousands of parents who are struggling with overweight, underactive children. Heidi lives in Clovis, California, with her husband Dan and their children, Breanna and Nathan.

Welcome, Heidi. What would you like for our readers to know about you personally?
I am very outgoing. I love to be outdoors. I love being around nice kindhearted people. I love to laugh. My favorite thing to do is hang out with friends and family under the stars at night around a campfire.

Tell us about your family.
My husband and I have been married for 18 years and we have 2 beautiful children Breanna (age 13) and Nathan (9 years old) they both are competitive swimmers. 

Have you written other nonfiction books?
No

Do you have any other books in the works right now?
No

What kinds of hobbies and leisure activities do you enjoy?
Reading, sitting on the beach and hiking.

Why did you write the featured book?
To let others know that they are not alone and that change is possible. 

What do you want the reader to take away from the book?
Obesity is not permanent. Change is possible. And you can start today.

Is there anything youd like to tell my readers about you or your book?
Yes, I would like readers to know some practical advice and tips they can find in my book like tools to determine your childs BMI, tips for getting your child to eat healthy foods, lists of foods to avoid and alternatives to eat instead, tips for reading serving sizes on labels (they can be very misleading!), information on identifying depression in your child, simple ways to cut sugar out of your diet, warning signs to determine if your child is being bullied, tips for eating out, recipes for making easy, healthy meals.
