ZEKE LAM is the founder of SUBMISSION Ministries—a ministry devoted to seeing lost souls encounter God and live lives fully surrendered to the risen Christ. A graduate of Liberty University, Zeke’s deep passion for following Christ’s will has led him through many years of youth ministry and itinerant evangelism. Both of these experiences have enriched and fueled his desire to hand others the keys to a Christ-centered life. Zeke resides in Virginia with his beautiful wife, Kathleen, and a growing family of future world-changers.

What is the greatest challenge that the Church is facing today? 

Zeke Lam suggests that one word is the greatest challenge:  submission, or the lack thereof. It is not external forces that nullify the testimony of a Christ-centered believer, but rather the failure to humbly submit to the voice of the Lord. This book will help you to live a surrendered life abiding in Christ.

 What would you like for our readers to know about you personally?

Since the age of 18, I have served as a youth minister and evangelist. It appears that that the Lord is now taking us through a season of transition which may embark us into a more “full time ministry” role. I currently operate a small ornamental concrete business which makes provisions for my family. We know however that writing and pastoral callings are leading us into a season of change.

Tell us about your family.

I have been married for 6 years to my beautiful wife Kathleen. We have three precious babies (two boys and a new baby girl) whom we adore very much.

Have you written other nonfiction books?

This is the first work, but we think that many more are to follow.

Do you have any other books in the works right now?

Yes. Although it is not in the publishing process, another book in the subMISSION series is in the works.

What kinds of hobbies and leisure activities do you enjoy?

I enjoy working with my hands so the concrete construction work is a great activity for relaxation even though most would consider it quite laborious. As a family, we enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, trips to the park, and of course, the beach.

Why did you write the featured book?

The Lord placed strongly on my heart the importance of submission as it relates to spiritual strength and revival. As I stepped into this realm of total surrender, God began to illuminate some very practical and powerful truths. Despite never aspiring to write a book, the concept of submission burned so intense in my heart that it flowed to paper with ease. I wrote the book in order to share this message and passion with those whom I may never get the opportunity to meet.

What do you want the reader to take away from the book?

I want readers to take away a strong desire to surrender every area of their lives to Him. I want them to realize that revival, in our hearts, homes, and nation, begins with submission to only the voice of God. I want them identify and delete any obstacles that keep them from knowing Him more and experiencing fullness in Christ.
