Audible Books - Why are they so great? - Three Free Audio Books - Lena Nelson Dooley

Dear Readers, I have a number of Audible books available. I thought some of you might like to try one or more of them.

A lot of people listen to them while they commute. Some while they're resting. Others while they do chores. And some while they are exercising. I know they're popular among young people, but they're also popular among others. They're wonderful for anyone who is seeing impaired as well.

I will be giving away 3 free audio books to 3 people who leave comments. Here are my audio books:

A Heart's Gift
Winner of the 2017 Faith, Hope, and Love Reader's Choice Award for Long Historicals
Because of an earlier betrayal, Franklin vows never to open his heart to another woman. But he desires an heir.
When Lorinda is finally out from under the control of men who made all the decisions in her life, she promises herself she will never allow a man to control her again. But how can she provide for her infant son?
A marriage of convenience seems like the perfect arrangement, until two people from Franklin's past endanger Lorinda. How can he save her? And how will this affect the way they feel about each other?

The Spinster and the Cowboy

The Cactus Corner singles scene is shrinking. Many were unmarried by choice, others by circumstances, but single women living the 1800s carried the unfortunate label of "spinsters". Once branded, can a spinster find love?
India Cunningham is happily running the ranch her father left her when a man she doesn't remember from her childhood arrives to help her. Can she trust Joshua Dillinger, or is he there to steal her land?

Christmas Confusion

Lori Compton, mayor of Mistletoe, Montana, needs ideas for ways to prop up the sagging economy. After having her heart broken by the former pastor, she doesn’t want to spend time with the new pastor. Rev. Russell Brown has plenty of ideas, even one that includes his spending the rest of his life with the beautiful mayor. Will Lori be able to move beyond her hurts and recognize God’s intentions for the future of the town – and for her own future?

Charlsey's Accountant

Spur your faith and love of romance in this novella where passion hits the open range. Saddle up with Charlsey Ames as she shakes off the trail dust for a citified dandy.

Charlsey Ames is the son her father would never have--riding, roping, working the ranch with the best of them. Horace Miller, III, an accountant from back East, is intrigued by the feminine Charlsey until he learns she dresses like man out on the range.

Can these two stop judging each other long enough to recognize the future God has planned for them

The Gold Digger

It's 1890, and Golden, New Mexico, is a booming mining town where men far outnumber women. So when an old wealthy miner named Philip Smith finds himself in need of a nursemaid, he places an ad for a mail-order bride - despite the protests of his friend Jeremiah.
Hoping to escape a perilous situation back East, young Madeleine Mercer answers the ad and arrives in town under a cloud of suspicion. But just as she begins to win over Philip - and Jeremiah himself - the secrets she left behind threaten to follow her to Golden...and tarnish her character beyond redemption.

I'm disabled and there's many things I can't do. I've always wanted to listen to an Audio book, but haven't had the opportunity. Christmas Confusion looks like it would be great. Really all of the audio books look great. Thank you for this great opportunity.

I only have 2 audiobooks and am beginning to enjoy them. It’s certainly a LOT different than reading.

Audio books are great to listen to when I drive to work. They take me away to another time and place.

I started listening to audiobooks a couple of years ago. Prior to that I didn't think I would ever care to. It took a great narrator and book to win me over. Now, I always have an audiobook at the ready for the car, chores, and/or yardwork. I tend to save the audiobook for those moments while also having a second book for reading times.
