Review of the moview - THE IDENTICAL

Grace Hill Media gave me the opportunity to screen the film The Identical this last week before it released on Friday. I was particularly interested in seeing this one, because it is about identical twins who are separated at birth.

For those of you who have read my McKenna's Daughters Series, you know that it was about identical sisters, who were separated at birth. I really wanted to see how the movie's separation was different from the one in my books and how much they were alike.

I loved the movie. The twins were so alike and yet they were so different. These things came out through the story.

A cast of major actors and actresses gave strong performances. 

Probably the thing I liked best is the way living for the Lord and answering His call on a life was handled. It's a southern movie, and the Christian element is true to the way Christian life was in the Great Depression and for twenty-something years beyond. It was true to my upbringing during the 1940s and 1950s.

A truly delightful and ultimately uplifting movie for the whole family. Here's the trailer:
